LET'S TALK ABOUT IT

"Human nature is to fuck around and find out. What is unfortunate, is that some people have to fuck around longer to find out."
I was having a conversation with someone who inspires me, daily. We were discussing how most of the time we end up learning the hard way. We can give people advice, and tell them about our experiences and knowledge, hoping they will learn from us; but more often than not, we truly learn by experiencing rather than just hearing.
When sitting with this concept a bit longer, I realize that for myself, I learn by diving in (does anyone actually read the instructions??). As I have evolved, I see where I observe while taking in information and use emotion, logic, and EXPERIENCES to learn. So essentially, less FO&FO energy, and more taking in information, applying knowledge (already gained from experience) before fully aligning with what is before me.
Oh, and here is where I could make this post into a chapter fit for a book. But for now, let's just ponder a few questions.
1- How do you learn? Is your primary teacher experience or something else completely?
2- What happens if we are not allowed to fuck around and find out? Where do we get the experience to apply to the information we are given, before assimilating (learning)?
3- What knowledge, from FO&FO type of experiences, are you working with right now? (Because I believe this holds the key to how we relate to information that we are given)
