Reflection

When people acknowledge and appreciate you for simply being yourself... that is the expression of love in its truest form. This way of being seen and understood is vital to our health and existence in this challenging world; it is so often dismissed as a basic human need, overlooked, and unrecognized.

🔸 TAKE TIME TO REFLECT🔸

Take a few deep breaths and re-read what I shared above, letting the words sink in, and feel them. Now, as you read it (a 3rd time), be curious, and tune into what you feel in your body. Where the feeling is, is it uncomfortable, uneasy, light or warm, cold, or heavy? Does this feeling have a color, sound, use your senses and just notice. I suggest you write a few notes for yourself, either in the comments, an app on your phone, or a notebook.

Who do you love in this way?

Meaning you can see them as they are, (no expectations, no stories, no desires, only the brilliant light of their soul), look for the simplest parts, that they themself might not even see, or forget to recognize.

How can you share that with them?

It can be a simple message or text, a tag in a post that reminds you of their light, a post-it note on their desk, send a letter, or a phone call to remind them they are seen. Share something specific about what you see and adore.
